Privacy Policy

At FastTrack, we take your privacy very seriously. This policy describes what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what control you have over it.

1. Information We Access

FastTrack accesses and stores the following data locally on your device:

Fasting Data

We store your fasting sessions including start time, end time, selected fasting plan, and completion status. This data is used to display your fasting history, statistics, and streaks.

Weight Data

If you use the weight tracking feature, we store your weight entries including date, weight value, unit preference, and optional notes.

Water Intake Data

If you use the water tracking feature, we store your daily water intake entries including date, amount, and daily goal.

User Profile

During onboarding, you may provide your name, weight, goals, and experience level. This information is used to personalize your fasting program.

Notifications

With your permission, we send local notifications for fasting reminders, hydration alerts, and motivational messages. No data is sent to any server for this purpose.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

FastTrack does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

We do not send your health data, weight, or fasting history to any server
We do not use analytics or tracking services
We do not collect device identifiers
We do not use advertising or ad networks
We do not share data with third parties

3. Local Processing

All data processing is performed exclusively on your device. FastTrack has no backend server. Your health and personal data never leaves your iPhone or iPad.

4. Data Storage

FastTrack uses SwiftData (on-device database) to store your fasting sessions, weight entries, and water intake. The app also uses UserDefaults for preferences such as:

Onboarding state
Selected fasting plan
Unit preferences (kg/lbs, ml/oz)
Notification settings
Free usage counters

All data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Backup & Export

FastTrack allows you to create backups (JSON) and export data (CSV). These files are generated locally on your device. When you share or save these files, they leave the app through the standard iOS share sheet — we have no control over or access to where you send them.

6. In-App Purchases

Subscriptions are handled through Apple StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for more information.

7. Permissions

FastTrack may request the following permission, which you can revoke at any time from iOS Settings:

Notifications: optional, used for fasting reminders, hydration alerts, and motivational messages

8. Security

Since no data is transmitted outside your device, the risk of data leakage is minimal. All information remains protected by iOS security measures (device encryption, sandboxing, etc.).

9. Children's Privacy

FastTrack is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Fasting apps should not be used by minors without medical supervision.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
